Service Description

Rooted in the rich wisdom of the Oríṣà and the enduring values of our ancestors, this course invites 3rd–5th grade scholars on a journey where literacy becomes a tool for self-discovery, cultural pride, and purposeful action. Students will read, write, and create within a framework that honors African heritage and the oral traditions that have carried our stories for generations. Through Journeys of the Griot, they will explore how stories shape character, culture, and community. In Voices of the Village, writing becomes a tool for truth-telling, advocacy, and inspiring change. Wisdom Carried by the Winds will guide students in discovering how oral and written narratives preserve history and pass down life lessons. Builders of the Word will empower them to craft worlds and characters rich with meaning, while The Spirit of Imagination will nurture their creative expression as a reflection of both their inner selves and the legacy they carry.
